Recording Settings
Noise Threshold:
0.11
Threshold for auto-trigger. Higher values require louder noise to start recording.
Recording Duration (seconds):
60
seconds
Maximum recording time per trigger. Recording stops automatically after this time or when noise drops below threshold.
Manual Recording Duration (minutes):
120
minutes
Maximum duration for manually triggered recordings. Recording stops after this time or when manually stopped (1 to 240 minutes).
Auto Recording:
Enable or disable automatic recording based on noise threshold. Manual recording is always available.
Noise Filter Consecutive Chunks:
Number of consecutive audio chunks that must exceed the threshold to trigger recording. Helps filter random noises (1-20).
Recording Format:
WAV (Lossless)
MP3 (Compressed)
FLAC (Lossless)
Vorbis (Lossy)
WAV is lossless but larger files. MP3 is compressed and smaller.
MP3 Bitrate (kbps):
64
128
192
256
320
Bitrate for MP3 compression. Lower values save more space but reduce quality.
Advanced Noise Filtering
Warning:
Changes to these noise filters require a full application restart to take effect.
Noise Gate:
Automatically mute low-level background noise below threshold
Adaptive Noise Reduction:
Learn and remove consistent background noise patterns
High-pass Filter:
Remove low-frequency rumble and wind noise
De-essing:
Reduce harsh S sounds and plosives
Notification Settings
Enable Gotify Notifications:
Enable or disable sending notifications via Gotify.
Gotify Server URL:
URL of your Gotify server (e.g., http://192.168.88.17:8090)
Gotify API Token:
API token for sending notifications
Notification Priority:
Priority level (0-10, higher = more important)
Notification Title:
Title for recording notifications
Test Gotify Notification:
Send Test Notification
Test the Gotify notification setup.
Voice Filtering
Enable Voice Filter:
Apply bandpass filter to focus on human voice frequencies (100-4000Hz by default). Reduces background noise.
Low Frequency Cutoff (Hz):
Lower frequency cutoff for voice filter (20-500Hz). Default 100Hz removes low-frequency noise.
High Frequency Cutoff (Hz):
Upper frequency cutoff for voice filter (1000-8000Hz). Default 4000Hz removes high-frequency hiss.
Filter Order:
Filter steepness/order (1-10). Higher values give sharper cutoff but may cause artifacts. Default 4.
Extension & Playback
Extension Window:
5.0
seconds
Time window to check for noise when deciding to extend recording. Higher values tolerate longer pauses.
Audio Chart Size:
Tiny (250x80)
Small (350x120)
Normal (450x160)
Large (550x200)
Size of the live audio signal chart on the main page.
Chart Amplitude Max:
0.1
Maximum amplitude level for the live audio signal chart (0.1 to 1.0).
Microphone Controls
Analog Gain
Capture Volume:
N/A
Main analog gain for microphone input (0-100%). Adjusts overall sensitivity.
Mic Boost:
N/A
Pre-amplifier boost for external mics (0-3 levels, ~0-30dB). Increases low-signal gain.
Internal Mic Boost:
N/A
Boost for built-in microphone (0-3 levels). Only available on devices with internal mic.
Digital Gain
Digital Capture Volume:
N/A
Digital gain for USB/digital mics (0-100%). Applied after analog conversion.
Monitoring
Mic Playback Volume:
N/A
Volume for mic monitoring through speakers (0-100%). Lets you hear your own voice.
Mic Playback Switch:
Enable/disable mic monitoring (sidetone). Routes mic input to speakers for testing.
Mute
Capture Switch:
Enable/disable microphone capture. Mutes mic input for privacy or troubleshooting.
